WHAT IS DOWN SYNDROME???

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS??

Most children with Down syndrome have:

Distinctive facial features, such as a flat face, small ears, slanting eyes, a small mouth. A short neck and short arms and legs.

WHY DO THEY HAVE THIS ILLNES???

We usually have 46 chromosomes but most people with down syndrome have 47 that is the reason of down sindrome. This changes the way the brain and the body develop ,experts dont know the exact cause. This is a risk factor.

Sometimes this illness can be dangerous for example :

1- they aren’t having palate 2-they walk badly3-they spike wrong 4-they made lot of mistakes

Your risk of having a baby with down syndrome are higher if:

1-you are older when you get pregnant.2-you have a brother or sister with down syndrome.3-you had another baby with down syndrome.
