DOWN-CONVERSION WHITE OLEDS Franky So and co-workers report on a high efficiency microcavity downcon- version white organic light-emitting diodes. By incorporating a film of down- conversion phosphors within the de- vice, a luminous efficiency of 99 lm/W at 30 cd/m2 can be obtained, paving the way for more efficient solid-state lighting devices.
