What is Whistle? Needs meet Haves

Whistle is a platform that connects people and fulfils their needs

The Government, NGO’s and Intuitions can use whistle platform to listen to people’s thoughts and

needs to serve people better.

Serve People

Platform

Be it an organization or a business, people can come together and put in their needs and get spontaneous responses with Whistle.

People

Producers and Consumers create Whistles on the app, to announce what they would be providing or consuming

Market Place

All the information on the platform is real time and it can dynamically serve people based on their

needs.

Dynamic

Whistle's notification system alerts/beeps/whistles when any of the interested party is near the other

thus connecting effectively.

Why Whistle?

Consumer

Wanted ColumnSearch Listings Service Providers

Provider

Wanted ColumnThe “Wanted Column” does not help in fulfilling needs spontaneously. Neither does it give the service provider an idea about the HEATMAP of the requests. The availability and the need gap remained unfilled

Search ListingsFor users, search tools or listings like Google, Craigslist and Angie’s list could help them find a nearby service provider, for an urgent need like a broken water supply or a gasoline for their stalled vehicle. But their address does not reflect the actual location. The user might miss the nearby provider or vice versa

Service ProvidersFor service providers, they need to wait. Wait for user to contact them. Most times there is lack of information like the location and the exact requirement from the user.

Whistle resolves this by informing both parties when they are nearing each other, so that the nearest provider is available to the nearest consumer. It makes the service delivery effectively utilized. It can also be applied to other categories like neighbor help

Get Things Done

How it Works 05

Need! Have.

A consumer or provider create a “Whistle” for a category like home repair and subcategory plumbing. The system detects the location and matches with already created whistles on the category and subcategory of the opponent ( if provider then consumer

or vice versa). It alerts all matching users when their interested party is nearing them. They communicate and gets things done.

Risks and Mitigation

Providers will compromise with tracking their location on normal business hours to increase their business potential. The App has a quick on and off of tracking. It also has Whistle duration to automatically sets off the whistle. For consumer, Whistle will be alive for few minutes or a day based on their preference. Consumers location is stored and shared only when their whistle is alive or their location is turned on

Privacy Concerns

2

A patent is registered about this new model. It will stop or hinder the competition. An aggressive marketing strategy will be applied to reach out high number of users quickly to defeat the user base of the future competitor

Competition

1Whistle helps the parties to locate each other and to communicate. The transaction is done outside of the app. So the App is not responsible for service delivery or quality or allegations.
