General
Thehorizontaldouble-breakdisconnectorconsistsofthreepoles.Eachpoleconsistsofaframe,twosupport-inginsulatorsateachendandonerotatinginsulatoratthecenter,onwhichthemainbladeismounted.
Frame
Theframeismadeofasquaretubeinwhichinthecen-terthebearinghousingandtheturnableareinstalled.
Theturnableissupportedbytworollerbearings.Thebearinghousingissealedandfilledupwithgrease,toensurealonglifetime.
Allsteelpartsofthedisconnectorarehotdipgalvanized.
Insulators
ThedisconnectorscanbeequippedwithinsulatorsinaccordancewithIECorANSIspecifications.
Drive Mechanism
TheDisconnectorsand/orearthingswitchescanbesingle-poleorthree-poleoperatedbymeansofamotor-operateddrivemechanismoramanual-operateddrivemechanism.
Incaseonlyonedrivemechanismisusedforthree-poleoperation,thepolesareinterconnectedbymeansofadjustablecouplingrods.Thedrivemechanismalsohousestheauxilliarycontactsforpositionindication.
Main Blade
Themainbladeconsistsoftwofixedcontracts,mountedonthesupportinginsulators,andamovingblademount-edontherotatinginsulator.Themaincontractsareinstalledinsidethemainblade.Theyaremadeofcopper,withasilver-platedsurface.
Eachcontactfingerisprovidedwithstainlesssteelspringstoensurereliablecontactpressure.
Thecontactsareself-cleansing,whichmakesthedis-connectorsuitableforinstallationinareaswithsevereclimaticconditions.
Dependingonthevoltagerating,anticoronashieldswillbeprovided.
Earthing Switch
HAPAMdisconnectorsmaybeequippedwithearthingswitches,whichcanbebuiltontotherighthandsideand/ortothelefthandside.
Theearthingswitchconsistsofanaluminumtube,pro-videdwithsilver-platedcontactsatbothends.
Testing
ThedisconnectorsandearthingswitchesaredesignedandtestedinaccordancewithlatestIECspecifications.HAPAMmaintainsaqualityassurancesystemaccordingtoISO9001,certifiedbyKEMA.
Installation
Thedisconnectorsandearthingswitchesarepre-assem-bledandadjustedinourworksascompleteaspossible.
Theconstructionisdesignedsothatalldisconnectorscanbeinstalledandadjustedatsiteveryeasily,withouttheneedofanyspecialtools.HAPAMprovidesclearinstallationinstructionsandassemblydrawings.Maintenace
ThedisconnectorsandearthingswitchessuppliedbyHAPAMaredesignedsoastoensurethattheyarevirtuallymaintenancefree.However,towarrantalongandtrouble-freeserviceperiodweadvicethatavisualinspectionofthecontactsandbearingpointsbecarriedoutatregularintervals.
