Dorothy Dandridge: Things I Forgot To Tell You

description

DOROTHY DANDRIDGE life was a platform for Civil Rights and Justice, at a time when Equality for the Negro Race- was still just a Dream. In 1960, after years of disappointment and being the First and Only Negro star in an all White Hollywood System she formed her own production company, DD Productios- marking her the first Black Person to become a major player in Hollywood History. Dorothy Dandridge knew she was an experiment into integration, for the first time in U.S. History, White Americans found out publicly that Black's could achieve just as much or in Dorothy Dandridge case, more than any White American even with boundaries. Just think of what she could have done without racism. Dandridge was always told– she was the Right Person– At the wrong Time.
