About 70 years ago Robert Ricci, Jean and Jacques Lacroix with Cosette Harcourt (Jacques’s wife), started the Harcourt Studios in Paris to create

a collection of portraits of the most famous people of the XXth and XXIst centuries.

At the beginning, in1934, the Harcourt Studios invented a very intelligent way of using several lights

at the same time to lighten the models in order to bring out their own deepest personalities :

it will be ‘the’ Harcourt signature !Their former photographers came from cinema industries

They were real genius at using strong electric lights that’s why Harcourt Studios were quickly well-known

all over the world ...In this PPS you’ll see somefamous people and you’ll easily understand why, nowadays, it’s so important to be photographed in Harcourt Studios !....
