Yet another great Salesian Day was held at the Ewell, Surrey sports ground of theBattersea Football Club.
Sunday's competition format had to be changed due to the withdrawal of Chertsey andFarnborough Old Boys teams. The three remaining teams (Battersea Old Boys andBattersea and Chertsey School teams) each played 2 x 40 minute games on a leaguebasis (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw)The timetable and sequence of games was:
1. 1000 - Mass in the Social Club - led by Fr Des O'Riordan2. 1100 - Battersea School v Chertsey School3. 1150 - Battersea School v Battersea Old Boys4. 1245 - Chertsey School v Battersea Old Boys5. 1330 - Cup and Individual Trophy presentations
