Egg Osmosis Experiment

Purpose

To observe osmosis in a cell.

Put eggs in vinegar Remove Shell Measure weight of

eggs on a balance scale

Measure size of egg using string

Purpose

Place one egg in corn syrup and the other in water.

Weigh and measure the eggs again.

Hypothesis

Egg in corn syrup will get heavier

Size and looks will stay the same

Hypothesis

Weight of egg in water will get lighter.

Look more shiny. Size will stay the

same.
