Student Financial Profile (SFP)

• Apply once per session (Summer and Fall/Winter)

• A multi-purpose online application form that is used to apply for:• Scholarships and Awards• Undergraduate Bursary Program • Campus Employment eligibility

• Review the relevant program information

• Follow the application process and submit any additional information or documents.

• Work/Study• Research at York (RAY)• College Life at York (CLAY)

Requirements:• Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons• Demonstrate financial need• Be a full-time student (18 credits) - 9 credits per term.

Processing your OSAP

• Financial Document Tracker: • Check your loan document status through this online tool. http://www.yorku.ca/osfs/osap_trackingdocs.shtml• If your document is ready, book an appointment to pick it up.

• Loan Zone: • Starts August 30 - Sept 23• Pick up is by appointment only• Located in the Founders College Computer Lounge • (034 Founders College)

OSAP Reminders

• Students can apply up until the end of January each year.

• No payments as long as you are a full-time student.

• No interest as long as you are a full-time student.

• Funds are released in two installments (60% Sept and 40% Jan)

• Must be a full-time student:• 60% course load (9 credits per term)• Students with disabilities: 40% course load (6 credits per term)

Your Student Account

Monitor you student account online

Statements are released online the 18th of each month

Refunds are released in Nov and March. You may also request one online after the drop dates for courses.

Payments - by phone or online banking. Your student number is your “account” number.

Tuition Fees Term “Y” and “F” course fees are due Sept 10th

Term “W” course fees are due Jan 10th

Those that applied for OSAP before June 30 and have a completed application, tuition is due October 10th

Enrolment Deposit $450 Everyone is required to pay this deposit Pay once per term (FW and SU) Reserves your spot in your courses Has to paid within 5 days of enrolling If this is not paid you will be de-enrolled from classes
