    Dear Mr McGartland

    I have considered your complaint against Moira Doherty, following her letter to you dated

    30 October 2012 and subsequent contact with her via telephone in November 2012. I

    have reviewed all of the documentation relating to your earlier complaints. I have

    considered all aspects of the complaint against Moira Doherty and have also satisfied

    myself that the correct procedures were followed throughout.

    I believe that Moira Dohertys consideration of your complaint was thorough, and that the

    outcome was appropriate. I believe that Moira Dohertys letter to you of 30 October 2012,

    in which she explained how and why she had reached her conclusions, was

    comprehensive and in accordance with the requirements of the DOJ complaints

    procedure.

    In view of the above, I do not uphold your complaint.

    I trust you find this response satisfactory. However, as set out in the Departments

    Complaints Procedure, if you are not satisfied with this response, or wish to escalate this

    complaint to Step 3, you can refer your complaint to a Line Manager who has not been

    involved in this investigation. Contact details for the relevant official are supplied below
