Lets start with the basic question : Why yoga?
The short answer is, because “its very good for you”The long answer is that the benefits of yoga are many – both physical and psychologicalYoga is known to prevent diseases, reduces problems like depression etc

•The best time to do yoga is in the morning, on an empty stomach. Now , how many of us have time to go to a studio in the morning•Weather•(non)Availability of studios close by•Convenience of doing it at home•Regularity of practice
Now the next question: how to do it
3. To begin with, don’t do it at home! Start with a few sessions at a studio
4. Set up an area in your home where you will not be distracted. You should have enough space to lay down a mat and to be able to move freely on top of the mat
5. Set up a time you will stick to at-least for 15-20 days
6. Make sure you have access to online videos or DVDs to guide you through the session
7. Just do it
What are good online resources for DVDs and videos
Here’s where the problem starts. There are a bewildering amount of resources. For example, go to http://www.yogajournal.com/shop/. You will see a 100 different DVDs, touting a million different things.
