Mada (Qatar Assistive Technology Center) is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people with disabilities to the world of information and communication technology. Mada was established by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR) in June 2010
MADA – who are we ?
People with a disability in Qatar will have access to information and communications technology through assistive technologies, with resources, services, and the support that they require to make life, learning, and employment easier, smarter and better.

• To achieve their educational potential through the use of technology.• To access meaningful accommodations through organizational policy
and procedures• Through innovation and promote new and trusted technologies and
services • Increase opportunities for people with disabilities to enhance
independence, health, safety, and quality of life through the use of technology.
• Deployment by implementing workplace accommodations for individuals with a disability with technology at the personal, procedural, and policy levels, and embedding those stabilities by providing advice and guidance related to public policy that will assist in the achievement of the vision and mission
What is Assistive Technology (AT) ?
Assistive technology is any item, piece of equipment, software or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities. (Cook & Hussey, 1995)
