It is impossible to estimate the exact death toll of dogs from dog fighting each year, but experts say it is in the

Ten Thousands.

• Today there is over 40,000 people involved in the sport of dog fighting professionally and

over 100,000 are involved in street dog fights.

• The match of dog fighting ends when one dog is so injured he/she can no longer

fight. Such as dehydration, shock, blood loss, infections, or death. Unless the

losing dog has a good history of fights it is

killed.

•The losing dog is either Hanged, Shot,

or electrocuted.

• Dogs are forced to run on treadmills for hours

(Nonstop) to build strength and endurance.

• Dog fighting happens because of drug dealing,

gambling, and other criminal activity.
