DODGE GREEN TEAM SPRING PLANTING RAMBLING RIVER PARK – MAY 17, 2013
The “Green Team” took the short walk from Dodge Middle School to Rambling River Park on a rainy day in May.
City crews had equipment and 30 trees prepared for mulching. This variety of tree will replace the pine trees that had become
a maintenance issue for the nearby tennis courts.
Randy Distad from the City of Farmington provided direction for the project.
Then it was time for students to dig in.
The “Green Team” got right to work!
A little rain and mud could not slow them down!
Assistant Principal Karl Kaste did his part.
Principal Chris Bussmann took a break from his shift.
