JUNIOR DOCTORS:Junior Doctors is a BBC 3 documentary about young up and coming doctors and nurses from the Newcastle General Hospital and Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne. It shows how the doctors cope with life on the wards. The show is narrated by Jason Done. The type of documentary is interactive as it shows that the camera crew are interviewing the doctors, and filming what they do on the wards.

The sound that we hear throughout the clip of junior doctors is voiceovers which gives the audience information of what is happening while there are moving images on the screen. The location of the documentary is at a hospital. They wear smart clothes and nurses uniform to inform us that they are nurses and doctors. Crosscutting was used to move on to something else that happens at the hospital.

The filming process of the documentary is that it was being handheld, and it was the point of view from the camera man, they were following the nurses and doctors around the hospital. There were also people with blurred faces as the film production may be sued as those people might have not wanted to be on TV.

24 HOURS IN A & E:24 Hours in A&E is a British medical documentary set in King's College Hospital. In the 7th series, the setting was St George's Hospital. 91 cameras filmed round the clock for 28 days, 24 hours a day in A&E (Accident and Emergency) it offers unprecedented access to one of Britain's busiest A&E departments.

It is an observational mode of documentary, where they film the reality at the hospital. The camera work is that there was a long shot of the nurses doing their job. The sound I identified was direct address which was in the middle of the clip I watched of the documentary. The editing technique I noticed was cutaway, this appeared during the documentary. it was used because it was to view a patient on the show and then showed us the nurse again. The costumes was worn by the nurses and doctors which was what they have to wear as doctors and nurses.
