Because of declining Sc, get and the general economicrecession,' educational evalu-- become -449reasingly interested incost-analysis methods. -nu is a, large lady. of literature oneconomib and cost-analysis a, we know of no current bibliog-raphies targeted at the'use (J1_ cE=10. methods in program evaluation.- Thisreport contains oar initial attempt tobuil&such a bibliography.

This document contains over 350 references to Woks', reports, andarticles on, cost- analysi=s Methods. We have ,eelected items which seemedof most relc to researchers seeking to use cost procedures inevaneprogram evaluation. Since dost-analysiS prodedures appear to have:beenused more extensively in health evaluation than in edupational evalua-tion, we have included a,large number of references from the healthfield. While our referenbes come primarily'from-health,and education, they are wide-ranging, covering such diverse journals as ,the AmericanSchool Board Journal, the Journal of Political Econo and the communityDental and Oral EpidemiOlogV journal.

An increasing number of articles are appearing on the specific usecost methods in program evaluation, making it possible that a moreselective, annotated collection could be produced in the near future.Until'then, we offer this listing as .a temporary aid.,
