INTRODUCTION
The 1987 supplement to the Georgia Mediagraphv updates the original document and the first supplementpublished in 1982 and 1985 respectively. These three publications are guides to print and nonprint materialsabout Georgia and Georgians. The information was provided by Georgia educators, and national and localpublishers. Entries are arranged under the subject headings used in Essential Skills for Georgia Schoolsadopted by the Georgia Board of Education in 1980. Essential Skills lists specific skills objectives in tensubject areas.
Criteria for inclusion were appropriateness for K-12 students and commercial availability of the item duringthe project's research period. The grade level distribution leans toward the upper grades because ofpublishing output as translated to us. A dotted line is in the author's position for the remainder of the titles in the succession.
Included in this supplement is a list of Georgia-related resources available from our Videotape DuplicationCollection. A copy of the catalog for this entire video collection may be obtained through the System MediaContact Person.
