    I. SCHOOL LEVEL:

    1. A school is recommended to have a competition using a written exam bygrade/year level prepared by the school.

    2. The top three students per grade/year level who will obtain the highest scoreswill represent the school in the Elimination Round.

    Note: The elimination round is open to ALL interested schools, bothpri ate and public. It is su!!ested that school districts should notconduct their o"n elimination to choose contestants #or the "holedistrict. This is to !i e each school e$ual chances o# %oinin!.

    3. There shall be a maximum o !1"# pupils or Elementary and/or !12# students or$econdary in every participating school% bro&en down as ollows.

    -. All participating public and private schools are re0uired to accomplish a onepage -e!istration orm (MMC Form 1) , a photocopy o which should be sentdirectly to the epEd ivision ath $upervisor in charge on or be ore October+, /*0 .

    4. The school must present the original copy to the registration in charge duringthe Elimination Round on ecember 4% 2513 !Elementary# or ecember 6% 2513!7igh $chool#. This serves as permit in 8oining the competition. 9 o permit% oEntry: policy shall be implemented.

    6. The concerned epEd ivision ath $upervisors shall then collate all ; yahoo.com.ph or through ax at tel. no. !52#?12 42-? and/or !52# +5? 5--+.

    7e/she will also be responsible or settling all 0uestions% including protests%which may arise in the course o the competition% or a panel o advisers may beormed by the $chools ivision $uperintendent.

    ". The test materials shall be prepared by TA and transmitted through thenearest etroban& branch in the ivision. lease see attached list o etroban&branches vis @ vis the epEd ivision.

    ?. (n case there is no etroban& branch in the area% the test materials shall bedelivered to the epEd ivision Bce/s through the $chools ivision$uperintendent.

    15.The concerned Cranch anager or $chools ivision $uperintendent shallturnover the 0uestionnaires personally to the ivision ath $upervisor on4ecember 1, /*0 or Elementary and 4ecember 7, /*0 or 7igh $chool.

    11.The ivision ath $upervisor shall then turnover the 0uestionnaires to the Testing ;enter ;oordinators on the same date. A certiDcation on top o thepac&age which contains the 0uestionnaires will be signed by the etroban&Cranch anager% $chools ivision $uperintendent% the ivision ath $upervisor

    and the Testing ;enter ;oordinator to document the said turnover o test0uestionnaires.

    12.A ivision may have one or more testing centers depending on the distancebetween the schools% the si e o the ivision and the number o participatingschools. (t will be easible to have one center per istrict or the elementaryF orthe secondary% a cluster o towns may have one center. A cluster o ;ityivisions with very ew secondary schools may also have 8ust one center.

    Example: $uppose ivision A has 25 participating schools. Then% there will be 25x 3 or 65 'rade ( pupils to ta&e the test% 65 or 'rade ((% up to 'rade )( or atotal o 365 pupils who will ta&e the test in the ;enter. ( those 25 schools

    are very ar rom each other% the ivision may have more than one centeror them.

    13.The test materials will be opened publicly by the Testing ;enter ;oordinator 8ustbe ore the start o the competition at +:// a.m . A short opening program maybe conducted where the materials will be oBcially opened. A certiDcation will besigned by the Testing ;enter ;oordinator and selected proctors to document theproceedings.
