Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science Programs in Animal Physiology

Degree offered : Ph.D., M.Sc.

The department consists of the physiology and biochemistry units. There are 13 full-time Ph.D. –qualified staf

fs with experiences in both teaching and research in various areas of veterinary physiology and molecular bio

logy. The department supports graduate education by providing facilities for research in both biomedical scie

nce and physiology of domestic animals.

Key research areas :

Cardiovascular physiology, renal physiology, behavioral neuroendocrinology, physiology of lactation,

nutritional physiology, molecular biology, gastrointestinal physiology and cell physiology.

Facilities :

Well-equipped laboratories for physiology of lactation, basic molecular protein technique,

molecular biology and Neuroendoerinology.
