We would like to update the position listing and application page with the firm style and colors, but are unable to do so in the application. Is there anything that can be done to bring more customization to the vi pages? Ideally we would be able to modify the look and feel using CSS2 style sheets, but the site appears to be mostly hard coded.Solution: Each of the self apply websites (External, Internal, Search Firm), and also the Self Update and viRecruit Survey sites have a separate Master page that allows customers to customize them similarly to their own firm website. You can now edit a single text file web page (“ReMaster.Master”) and place all your firms customized look and feel for your firm. This reMaster.Master page will rarely change, so you can safely keep your customized version of it without need to retro fit your customizations into the (more often changing) REDefault.aspx file, for example

A new feature has been added this helps improve this as well as create a concept of an Applicant Account.Where the applicant doesn’t need to re-enter all of their data again when applying to another position, and where you can stop them from re-applying to the same position again!

They are then sent an email with a link to continue. The content of email is customizable here:

Applicants then click on the link in the email, proving they are the owner of that email address without the need for a password. This greatly reduces your need to “support” them with their account login details.

They will then be taken to their list of applications they are applying to and see the “capcha” message to continue.

The re-apply feature allows an application to skip over filling out the entire application form again for the next job they apply to, saving them a lot of time and more importanatly olimnating the need to merge applicants together!

An applicant will be taken “back” to the application form and it will already be filled in, based on their applicant profile data.

You can control what the applicant sees by sees here.The initial settings for these two new columns will be copied from the External Self Apply and Internal Self Apply columns, respectively. Its important to note that if your recruiters are using an fields (just as the comment boxes) for anything that you won’t want an applicant to see, you should remove any of these comments.

First Time Applicants and Returning Applicants can see different sections: The first time through their view is controlled by the “external self-apply” column.. if they are found to already have a profile in the system when they apply to another job, their view will be controlled by the “External Re-Apply” column/settings

Once the Applicant completed the “re-apply” form. – Typically most of the time they will just review the form and click on submit at the bottom, saving them lots of time. You will see the new application within the existing applicant profile here.Notice there is a “not reviewed” application for an existing Applicant.. No need to merge the new copy of the applicant.

You can also disable certain applicants applying to any more postings. Setting this for an applicant to stop the from applying to any future job postings using their current email address, This setting is available in the drop down list under the search button on the Applicant search page.

20120914 viEval - Profile Data In Closed Eval Add On 1260Starting from now.. If an evaluation is closed, its profile data will not be updated with future profile import. There is no longer a need to create a new profile each year/season with the same data. Profile data will remain inside each evaluation process that makes user of that profile. So if you had a profile called “Class Year”.. Last year’s evaluation process might display different profile value for that profile vs. what is currently live on the people table or what is displayed in an open evaluation process this year.

There are no settings or switches to turn this feature on. It is enabled by default and cannot be turned off.Basically profile data now works the same way that group membership data work – a copy of the data is stored in each published evaluation process.

If administrator changes the profile value inside a closed evaluation process by clicking on “profile report” from the manage page, the changed profile value will be saved only to the closed evaluation and will not affect the data in other processes. But if that process is in progress, then the edit will affect all other open processes and the people tab.

Notes: 1. If a closed evaluation is changed to "In Progress" and an administrator performs a profile import (or the profile import automatically runs), the profile data will be updated with the latest profile data.

2. viEval will sync profile data for "Open/In Progress" evaluations in the following events: a. profile import or employee/group import b. add/remove user to/from a group c. add/remove evaluatee/evaluator group within an evaluation process d. add/remove evaluatee/evaluator profile within an evaluation process

3. The profile data of evaluations will be stored in the following tablesTable names:Evaluatee data stored in EvalEmpProfile Evaluator data stored in EvalEvlProfile People tab data stored in EmployeeProfile (Note: Before this enhancement, profile data of evaluations are stored in table EmployeeProfile.)

This feature was added to allow a firm to perform evaluations on in-process projects for a summer associate in a separate evaluation form without affecting the regular evaluations which take place once a project is completed.

The idea here is that you can temperately point the work allocation process to a separate Project Based evaluation form for a couple of minutes, while you export all not-completed projects for a certain summer, then point the work allocation process back to the regular evaluation form again. During the time you are pointing to the alternate evaluation form (the mid-summer form), you check the box “Do Not Flag Project as Exported” so the work allocation process ignores that fact that you just exported it, allowing the normal exporting to take place once the project is marked completed by the Summer.

Please note: This method will not trigger any auto email notifications set up in your work allocation process. You’ll need to either manually email the select evaluators or use the Evaluation process features to send emails to any evaluators of this second evaluation process.

Export Evaluations on: Assignment Status

To export mid-summer Evaluations at a Summer’s half way point do the following:

Step 1: Update Parametersa) Change Main Evaluation Form to a different one, an Additional Evaluation Form.b) Temporarily allow export evaluations on assignment status 'In Progress and Completed'c) Turn off auto generate / export Evaluations

Step 2: Generate Evaluations a) Go to the "Generate Evaluation(s)" page b) select Summer Students to be Additionally Evaluated (status should be 'In Progress') c) check "Do not flag Assignment as Exported" above the 'Export' button, d) click 'Export' to Eval
