Student BursaryA bursary of $200.00 is available to each of four Māori nursing students, either undergraduate or in their new graduate year. The bursary includes full registration and stay at the Marae.

The purpose of the Bursary is to nurture, support and to grow Māori mental health nurses who aspire to work in Māori mental health settings.

Students must desire to work in a Māori mental health setting after graduation.

The eligibility criteria also requires a written statement about the applicants previous relevant experience in Māori mental health settings, their aspirations and why they would like to attend the Māori Caucus Wānanga and how they envisage this will nurture their growth and development.

The Māori Caucus Wānanga Conference Committee will receive the applications and decide the bursary awards.
