In 1969, Horst Eckard founded the company
eckard design in Gro-Zimmern near
Darmstadt. Soon after this, our headquarters has
moved to Fulda, where we started to specialise in
vehicle and production plant development. Since
then, EDAG has grown enormously, and is now
represented on four continents. In 2014, our
headquarters moved to Wiesbaden.
As one of the the industrys largest independent
engineering service providers, we now count
8,000 employees (30.09.2015) worldwide,
all working towards improving mobility and
making it sustainable.
