MODULES / PROGRAMME CONTENT: MODULE 1: UNDERSTANDING THE WORKPLACE Communication with stakeholders, goals and objectives, problem-solving and decision-making techniques, leadership styles. MODULE 2: WORKING EFFECTIVELY IN A TEAM 1 Communication with the team, working effectively, understanding how leadership styles affect teamwork. MODULE 3: WORKING EFFECTIVELY IN A TEAM 2 Supporting diversity, professional behaviour, reliability and self-management. MODULE 4: APPLYING PRINCIPLES FOR EFFECTIVE TEAMS Applying problem-solving and decision-making techniques, applying self-management strategies, developing team objectives and communicating with stakeholders. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THE PROGRAMME MODULES? The unit standards associated with this qualification (US29041; US29042; US29043) are uploaded to NZQA, and you will be awarded the New Zealand Certificate in Business (Introduction to Team Leadership) (Level 3). ENTRY REQUIREMENTS • NZ Citizen or NZ Resident • Employed in a position where you can practice the skills you learn • Full support from your management • Regular access and use of a computer with reliable internet MANAGER'S COMMITMENT • Actively support and encourage learner throughout the programme (incl. pre-course goal setting and assessment sign-offs) • Provide time within work hours to attend all face-to-face sessions and complete project work/learning activities • Monitor learner progress and achievement of all assessments, and provide additional support where necessary APPLY NOW www.learningworks.co.nz/training/
