Do you need to submit a UIF Claim at the Department of
Labour? Our Experienced UIF Specialist can assist you with

Important UIF Claim Information during the “Covid-19 Lockdown Period”:
• SA’s Government has made available R30 billion to support employees
losing their jobs this financial year, with R10 billion for lockdown.
• You can do the claim yourself at the UIF / Department of Labour at no
cost; or you can use a UIF specialist like ourselves who charge a service
fee.
• Pay-Out periods indicated by the UIF is 10 Working Days, but a backlog
is being created and it may become longer.
• The UIF Office confirmed that everyone registered at the UIF Fund
qualifies for a UIF Claim, however we cannot make any promises about
pay-outs on behalf of the UIF.
• The minimum that you can claim is around R3000; and the maximum is
around R17000.

Application Timeframe: 5 Working Days.
Pay-out Date Estimation: 10 Working Days – this may be longer depending
on service levels at the Department of Labour.
