Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3, 1847 in Scotland, Edinburgh. Sadly, he died on August 2, 1922. He was a well-known inventor. He was best known for inventing, and perfecting, the telephone to transmit vocal messages by electricity.

Let’s go back in time and see why he invented the telephone. Alexander Bell went to the University of Edinburgh and College University to study anatomy and physiology. When he graduated, he became an assistant for his father, Melville Bell. He worked with his father on elocution and speech research.

By taking in his father’s skills, he was able to teach the deaf to talk using visible speech. Visible speech is speaking positions with the lips and tongue. The K K K. Who are they? They are the Ku Klux Klan. The organization began around 1839. What was this clan for? The Ku Klux Klan heated blacks and immigrants. They thought it was their place to keep African Americans in their places. Little by little, the clan grew up to 40,000 members.

The K K K also known as the Ku Klux Klan basically targeted African America (those set free after the American Civil War). They never considered slaves to be free. They drove the black farmers off their land and burned their houses and chased them through woods. Recently 197 people were murdered and 548 people were assaulted by the clan.

Never to be seen, a march took place at Washington DC because they show resistance and display power of a concerned citizenry. They march through Washington dc because they did because they didn't want the blacks there at all People first noticed them in a New York Times world article. Now they are drawing

more attention to them self. 40,000 K K K (Ku Klux Klan) members marched through Washington, DC, but for what? They was feeling so brave and proud that they are marching without their hoods on. There were connected to so many lynching and attacks!

A while ago they burned an 80 foot cross. In the state of Virginia. Where are the cops, if the clan thinks that they can get away with that? What else will they do? What will they do next to get even more attention? A better question is why they are not getting the cops attention with all this lynching and attacks. Are some of the cops with this clan? Is anyone safe with this clan going about and around? Only time will tell

Adolf Hitler might be the next chancellor of the German Government. Does he have the power to control Germany? He did fight in WW1 for Germany, but what happened when the war ended? Will the war leave him without a place to live? It drove him away to join the disillusioned veterans. Does it look like he will be a good chancellor? This paper does not think so.

In September 1919, he attended a meeting of the German Worker Party. That Party was also a Nationalist, Anti-Semitic and Socialist group. Adolf Hitler liked the party, and he started to be the most popular speaker. The next thing you know, he became the leader, or fuhrer. The National Socialist German Worker Party (NSDAP) later turned into the Nazi Party. In 1920, he had 6,000 members. In 1923, he acquired 56,000 members: 50,000 new members in 2 years. People started to follow him because he was a strong person, and they thought they needed him. In reality, he was an awful man; yet, he started to show tremendous leadership.

He was sent to prison due to political reasons. He was sentenced to 5 years, but only served 9 months. That’s when he devised his own ideas on politics, and his tactics matured. He wrote a book called Mein Kampf, which fully explained his beliefs. In his book, he talked about his youth, his early days in the Nazi party, and his plans for Germany. Adolf Hitler was counting on his Party to get him voted in as chancellor. They got him 2.5 percent of the electoral votes.

Adolf Hitler showed that he can be a leader, but what kind of leader will he be? Where will he get the rest of his votes from? Why is the real reason Adolf Hitler is running for chancellor? What are his intentions? We will see soon who will be the next chancellor of Germany.

It all started in 1801 when the British began to enforced laws too highly in Ireland. Now the British Ireland is separated in to two different nations. The northern side is now mainly protestant (Christian who belongs to the church). The southern side (other side) is now mainly Catholic. Each of the new sides had developed its own government.

When these new sides stared, tension began to grow. Because of this tension, a civil war broke out between these two nations, because of: money, religion, Charles’s personality and power. A leader name Michael Collins organized the (IRA) the Irish Republican Army. He murdered fourteen British intelligence officers that were undercover on Blood Sunday, November 21, 1920. 13 Catholics were killed when soldiers of a British paratroop regiment opened fire during a civil rights. The day became known as Bloody Sunday. Its impact led to a resurgence of violent opposition to the British presence in Northern Ireland. Many of the basic facts are not disputed.

All this violence between British and Ireland is going to cost many deaths and more carnage. The Royal Irish Constabulary supported the British. The (IRA) was the Irish with the help by U Force of ex-soldiers Known as the black and tans these factions forced warfare to break out.

When will this conflict go on between two nations? What do the British really want from Ireland? Just end this! Be one nation, one county? Why is there a need for this division?

This is the division of Ireland. Red is British & the green is Ireland
