The Term has been very busy with many highlights including Confirmation, Camps and the Concert. Everyone has worked very hard and I wish to congratulate the children for the way they have applied themselves to their studies. I hope everyone has a well-earned rest during the school holidays. We will finish the term with Mass at Midday tomorrow. Everyone is welcome. School will finish tomorrow at 1.00 p.m. OSHclub is available from 1.00 p.m School Concert. Congratulations to all of the Girls and Boys for their outstanding performances last Thursday. We are very proud of you all. Thanks to all of the staff for their efforts. A special word of thanks to Jane Cahill our Performing Arts teacher for all of her preparation and thanks also to Sally Patkin.

Dear Parents and Friends, Tomorrow is the last day of Term 3. The Term has been very busy with many highlights including Confirmation, Camps and the Concert. Summer School Uniform Children are expected to wear their Summer Uniform from the beginning of next term. Hats must be worn at recess and lunch time. The school has a ‘No Hat No Play’ policy. For the month of October children may wear winter uniform items on cold days. Fathers’ Night. The Fathers’ Night will be held on Friday the 25th of October.

Gardening Club Update

The Gardening Club are collecting seedling kits being offered as part of the new Woolworths promotion. If you have any kits that you do not want, or aren’t collecting; please drop them off in the container outside 1/2K’s classroom. The Gardening Club are also after donations of succulent cuttings. They intend to fill the STA sign in the front garden with small growing succulents. If you have any succulents at home, or know anyone who does, please start collecting them over the holidays.

Grade 3 & 4 Camps

This week our Grade 3s &4s attended their School Camp at DOXA camp near Malmsbury. The camps were a great success with lots of fun and learning. I wish to thank the parents who helped out: Emmet Monaghan, James Clarke, Michael Woolfield, Sebrina Cornally and Georgia Traill. Thanks to all of the staff who attended: Doriana Cooper, Vicki Ness, Erin Panagiotou, Carla Pullen, Frank Stosic and Patrick Gamwell.
