The information contained herein is furnished on a confidential basis to a limited number of sophisticated individuals for the purpose of providing certain information about LifeSpan International.
Innovator in the field of advanced proprietary DNA sciences and marketers of natural anti-aging solutions derived from patented extracts and processes
AC-11® is a patented product designed to manage the effects of aging and cell damage by supporting the body's natural ability to repair and maintain its DNA. AC-11® is an extract from the bark of a specific Uncaria, a plant indigenous to the Amazon rainforest.
Optigenex Inc. has developed a patented and proprietary process for isolating the plant's active compound, which is then converted into a water-soluble material that can remain in suspension or can be consumed in tablet or powder form as well as topically for cosmeceuticals, sun care, nutritional beverages and pet products.
AC-11® has been shown to block the body's NF-kB pathway, the primary pathway for autoimmune diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis, certain types of insulin dependency, lupus and other conditions – it’s a catalyst that sets DNA Repair in motion.
• Patented extract from the bark of a specific Uncaria vine
• Patented extraction method that isolates the potent Carboxy Alkyl Esters which comprise the active ingredients in the bark

Rainforest plants are responsible for 25%of the drugs used by Western medicine. 70% of the plants identified as having anti-cancer characteristics by the US National Cancer Institute are found only in the tropical rainforest. Well over 100 corporations and U.S. government agencies are studying rainforest plants for their medicinal capacities. However, the process of bringing a rainforest drug, or any pharmaceutical product, to market is long and costly.

“. . . the accumulation of random damage to the building blocks of life - especially to DNA, certain proteins, carbohydrates and lipids (fats) – that begins early in life and eventually exceeds the body’s self repair capabilities”

Two possible health consequences
The major cause of human disease has been identified as DNA damage by reactive oxygen species. This has been reviewed as a contributing factor for the origin and progression of a number of conditions including aging, autoimmunity, HIV infection and cancer.
STEP 1. DNA damage detected. Enzymes uncoil and unzip DNA. (NFk-B inhibition works here also by stopping free radicals that damage DNA)
STEP 2. Uncoiled structure gives access to repair enzymes.
STEP 3. Damaged or misplaced nucleotides are cut out by DNA repair enzymes. (Active genes are repaired first, then less active genes)
STEP 4. New segments are moved into place and the seams are sealed by other enzymes.
