    We thank you for responding to our advertisement ADVT No.DMRC/OM/HR/I/2015 for consideration for recruitment in our Organization.1.   You are requested to appear for the written test at the Centre on the date and time specified above.

    2.   This Admit Card should be brought to the examination centre and handed over to the Room Invigilator.

    3.   You should reach the test centre before the reporting time as mentioned above. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination

    center after 09:30 AM Under any Circumstances. Late comers will not be permitted to appear in the test.

    4.   Your candidature for this test is provisional and is subject to your fulfilling the prescribed educational and other eligibility conditions etc., as notified in

    our Advertisement failing which your candidature will be summarily rejected at the further stages of verification and scrutiny during the selection

    process.

    5.   Request for change of Test Centre/test date and address of correspondence will not be entertained under any circumstances.

    6.   Candidate should also bring their Photo ID proof in original for verification purpose. Photo ID proof may include any one of the following: (1) Election

    ID Card (2) PAN Card (3) Driving License (4) Ration Card (5) Student Identity card (6) Aadhar Card.

    7.   MOBILE PHONES / PAGERS /CALCULATORS/ SCANNING DEVICES/ ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGET / SCALES / ALGORITHM TABLES

    are strictly prohibited inside the test centre. Test centre will not be responsible for its safety/loss. There is no storage arrangement for these items atthe centre. Any candidate found using or in possession of such unauthorized material or indulging in copying or adopting unfair means will be

    summarily disqualified.

    8.   You may kindly note that no traveling expenses will be admissible for appearing in the written test.

    9.   Please note down your Roll Number and Registration Number for future reference and keep a photocopy with you as this Admit Card will be collected

    from you.

    10.  Please note that this Admit Card does not constitute an offer of employment to you.

    11.  Candidate should follow the Instruction provided by Invigilator and Centre Superintendent. Candidate should bring only Black/Blue Point Pen  for

    marking the OMR Answer Sheet. Marking with any other type of pen is NOT ALLOWED.Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.

    12.  Candidate has to take printout of this Admit card in color format with clear vision of Photograph.

    13. Important: The result of this written test along with instructions and schedule of Interview will tentatively be published on DMRC website

    verification and interview accordingly on the designated date.

    INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ANSWER IN THE WRITTEN TEST

    1. The following are some instructions regarding the written test :–

    a. MOST IMPORTANT:  DO NOT BRING MOBILE PHONES/SCANNING DEVICES/ANY ELECTRONIC GADGET TO THEEXAMINATION CENTRE; PLEASE NOTE THAT,NO ARRANGEMENTS FOR STORING THESE WILL BE MADE AT THE EXAMCENTRE AS THESE ITEMS ARE BANNED INSIDE THE CENTRE.

    b. Candidates are not allowed to carry any papers, notes, books, calculators, cellular phones, pager etc. in the examination

    hall. Any candidate found using or inpossession of such unauthorized material or indulging in copying or adopting unfairmeans to be summarily disqualified.

    c. Strictly follow the Instructions given on the question booklet or by Centre Supervisor/Room Invigilator.

    d. You must use Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for the written test.

    e. After finishing the examination, handover complete question booklet and answer sheet to room invigilator, DO NOT carry

    the question booklet or any part there of outside the examination room. Doing so is a punishable offence.

    f. No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall before the completion of written Test.

    2. The total duration of test is 2 hours 15 minutes. Paper-I will be for 90 minutes (10:00 AM to 11:30 AM) and Paper-II will befor 45 minutes (11:40 AM to 12:25 PM). 10 minutes gap between of Paper-I and Paper-II will be for collection of Paper-I anddistribution of Paper-II and for filling OMR sheet. However the exam will be conducted in the continuation. Nobody is allowed

    to go outside the classroom during the gap period.

    3. Paper-I -> This will be objective type multiple choice bilingual (English/Hindi) paper consisting of total 120 questions, 75questions from Technical/Professional Sphere and 45 questions from Aptitude (General Awareness, Reasoning & NumericalAbility ).

    4. Paper-II -> This will be objective type multiple choice question paper consisting of total 60 questions from General EnglishOnly. The questions will be on Comprehension, Adverb, Part of Speech, Preposition, Direct and Indirect Speech, Active andPassive Voice, Synonyms, Antonyms etc.

    5. There will be provision for negative marking in both the papers - Paper-I and Paper-II. For every wrong answer, 1/3 markswill be deducted. No marks will be deducted for left out Questions.

    6. How to answer objective type paper

    i. In objective type paper each question is followed by four alternative responses serialled (1) to (4). You are to choose thecorrect/best response and mark your response with Black/Blue Ball Point Pen in the OMR Answer Sheet only and not in thequestion booklet. No change/cutting/over writing in the answers are allowed in the OMR Answer Sheets.

    ii. Completely darken the OVAL so that the number inside the OVAL is not visible.

    iii. Darken ONLY ONE OVAL for each answer as shown in the example below.

    iv. Mark your answer only darkening one oval. Multiple answers to any question will not be counted for scoring. DO NOT markany stray marks anywhere on the answer sheet or on the question booklet. DO NOT fold or wrinkle the answer sheet.

    Rough work MUST NOT be done on the answer sheet. Use the space provided on your question booklet only for thispurpose.
