What is DMB ?

DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting)

DMB is a new concept in personal multimedia mobile broadcasting service that converges telecommunications and broadcasting.

DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting)

DMB was developed in South Korea under one of na-tional IT projects, as the next generation digital tech-nology to replace the FM radio.

The world’s first official mobile TV service

It can operate via satellite ( S-DMB) or terrestrial ( T-DMB) transmission.

There are a total of 28 channels. ( TV: 8chs, Radio: 12 chs, Data: 8 chs )

Customers can use the service anytime and anywhere. The TV video channels consist of ground frequency retransmis-sion channels from program provider and various specialized program channels such as news, movies, sports, etc.

“TU Media” is first mobile broadcast service company in Korea. This company provides services on the S-DMB network with full coverage for Korean peninsula.
