Wanting to get a lifetime dive certification?

Interested in understanding the equipment and background of scuba diving? Then take the

opportunity to join a PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water course.

Maldivian diving regulations include:

• Certified divers must present an international scuba diving license

• Positive medical condition

• No solo diving

• Open Water Divers or equivalent have a maximum depth of 18 meters

• No diving deeper than 30 meters

• Only NO decompression diving

• An orientation dive is standard procedure

• A 24 hours surface interval is required prior to flying

Scuba Diving regulations


Stop by our AQUAFANATICS centers in Dhigu or Veli to collect your snorkelling equipment, for the duration of your stay.

Please note that basic swimming skills are required for all in-water activities. Inexperienced swimmers are strongly advised to take a snorkeling lesson before joining a snorkeling excursion.

All snorkelling excursions are supervised by professional guides.

All snorkelling sites are within 10 to 20 minutes reach by dhoni and the time spent snorkeling is about an hour.

Manta Snorkeling(seasonal)Less than a 40 minutes boat ride away, let us take you snorkeling with these gentle giants.

The manta season in this area stretches from August to November. However, even duringthis period, sightings of mantas cannot be guaranteed.The manta rays are wild animals that pretty much do what they like!

The trip of 2.5 hours is done on demand and according to water tides favorable to spot the mantas.Please note four guests is required.

Jump in as the sun begins to set and watch the busy diurnal (daytime) fish rushing around as they head off to shelter for the night.Hang around as the night creeps on and the nocturnal fish come out to play. Keep your eyes peeled for lionfish, lobster and octopus.A main torch plus a back-up torch are provided at no extra cost.

Coral Adoption ProgramCoral reefs, the most diverse type of marine habitat, support an astounding array of tropical fish, & creatures. For all of its beauty and apparent resilience, coral is a sensitive organism, vulnerable to slight changes in environmental conditions.

Help us in our conservation efforts by adopting a coral frame. Take part in the Coral Adoption Program by transplanting live corals onto your frame with the help of our resident Marine Biologist in the shallow waters of the lagoon.

The coral adoption is arranged on demand.



We are lucky enough to have a large pod of spinner dolphins living right on our doorstep, the most acrobatic of all dolphin species.Watch them playing in their natural environment from the comfort of our dhoni.

We are proud to operate a fully natural interaction with the dolphins whereby in order to minimise our impact on their natural behaviour we do not offer incentives such as food. Therefore, while it is normal to see the dolphins during the excursion, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
