Known to be the diving 'capital' for Singaporean and Malaysian divers in the 90's and early 2000ʼs, the islands of Aur and Dayang possess unmatched visibility with spectacular underwater seascape. Attributed to its relatively remote location, sightings of large marine pelagics are not uncommon. A total of more than 15 dive sites located within minutes from the rustic beach-lodge where you will be resting for the weekend, diving has never been so easy and comfortable.

Meticulous reef recovery program was conducted for the past 7 years, now this secret paradise is reopened once again to welcome recreational scuba divers.

Despite stringent controls by the authority, true ocean loving divers will understand and appreciate the conservation effort behind all these as we work towards a more eco-oriented and sustainable marine tourism in this part of the world.

DAY 1• Meet & Greet at Mersing Jetty• Departure to Aur & Dayang Islands (approximately 3.5 hours)• Arrival at island and settle into your beachfront chalets

DAY 2 & 3• Rise & Shine• Breakfast, followed by scuba diving, snorkeling and island visits • Lunch, followed by more scuba diving, snorkeling or trekking• BBQ, party, free & easy

DAY 4• Rise & Shine• Breakfast and farewell Aur & Dayang Islands!• Return journey to Mersing Jetty, Johor

We offer a choice of Double or Twin (queen-sized or 2 x single-sized) for couples and/or small families, Quad-Share and Long House for groups of 4 persons or more (up to 12 pax per long house). All rooms are beachfront, sea-facing and non-smoking.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Guests are spoiled for choice as the resort serves a wide variety of local delicacies and international delights, ranging from authentic Malaysian, Western and Chinese flavors. Besides offering hearty meals throughout the day, an array of delightful snacks and beverages are available to make chill-out sessions even better.

MEALS

If you are driving from Singapore to Mersing, the distance is about 134 kilometers. Mersing Jetty is located along Jalan Abu Bakar road, opposite from the Mersing Marine Park Office. There is a gated parking compound located next to Mersing Jetty entrance. Payment for the use of the car park is to the Parking Attendant’s Office at the entrance of the car park.

Chartered vehicle can be arranged for group bookings. Please contact us for charter arrangement.

GETTING TO MERSING

The journey from Mersing to Tioman Island is approximately 2 and half hours. Friday departures for weekend packages are usually scheduled in the late evening, while weekday packages will usually depart at noon time. For the return journey from Tioman Island, departure is usually mid-day or early afternoon, subject to daily tide and weather condition at Mersing jetty.

SEA JOURNEY

Malaysia is a country within the Southeast Asia region. The prevailing weather in Malaysia is tropical with an average annual temperature ranging between 31˚C in the day to 24˚C in the night.

CLIMATE

There is a telecommunications relay tower at village on Aur Island, which is operated by Maxis. 3G and 4G services can be intermittent. Guests may wish to purchase Maxis prepaid SIM cards at Mersing jetty prior to their ferry departure.

Rates are subjected to the following terms and conditions and must be adhered to. SEA Expedition Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to revise the published rates at any time, giving no less than 30 days of written notice. Such revision would not affect guaranteed reservation made prior to the notice of revision.

3. Confirmation Full payment is required for booking confirmation. SEA Expedition Sdn. Bhd. reserve the right to cancel any reservation made without prior notice and bank charges, if any, are to be borne by sender.

Full details of travelers such as full name, date of birth, passport number and nationality are required for every confirmed booking. These information will be used solely for port authority clearance at Mersing.

4. Cancellation & Amendment Should there be a change in your travel plans, surcharges will apply for the following: • Cancellations and/or Amendments made more than 30 days before the scheduled departure will be charged at RM150 per person per booking. • Cancellations and/or Amendments made less than 30 days before the departure date will be charged at 50% of the total fare. • There will be no refunds for no-show.

In the unlikely event that we will have to cancel any booking, SEA Expedition Sdn. Bhd. reserve the right to do so. In this event, options will be provided for a full refund or reschedule to an alternative date.
