The Pine Knob Theatre near Rough River brings unique dramas to the region each summer in a500 seat theater under the stars. Rough River Dam

The park is located near the dam creating a 4,860 acre lake. Rough RiverDam SRP offers some of the finest opportunities for fishing and watersports in the state. The park includes a 40-room lodge and 17 cottages.There is a 167-seat dining room, two conference rooms, swimming pool,gift shop, and boat marina.

Steep to moderate slopingwoodlands, hardwood forest, and flatriver bottom farmlands compose thisstate-operated facility. The Brandenburg City Park spans the width of the downtown area, and includes a small playground forchildren, a checkers/chess table, and picnic tables. The view of the River is breathtaking here, with theIndiana shoreline and the Matthew Welch Bridge in the background. Counting the barges on the passingtowboats makes for a relaxing afternoon. A Gazebo in the park hosts occasional concerts on theweekends.Two boat ramps are available in the downtown area, with a large parking lot for cars and boattrailers at the Flippins Run Par area adjacent to the City Park. There are also soccer fields atFlippins Run, and the entrance to the Buttermilk Falls Historic Trail is between the twoparks.
