OUR TARGET AUDIENCE

. We all agreed that our model viewer would be around the age of 15-16+, this is because younger viewers may not be able to make links between our main theme surrounding the mobile phone and how it links to Katie’s death.

. It also is a high concept idea which will appeal more to teenagers and young adults to go and what it.

WHO IS MOST LIKELY TO DISTRIBUTE W1TH-H3LD?. Small independent labels such as vertigo are most likely to distribute our thriller.

. Vertigo have had many previous successes in making low budget movies, and helping them to gross a large profit.

VERTIGO’S SUCCESSES

Vertigos produced the film ‘Monsters’-directed by Gareth Edwards , that was released back in 2010 , with a budget of approximately £250,000.

. Monsters turned out to be a massive success, grossing over £4,000,000.

Vertigos Successes

WHY WOULD VERTIGO DISTRIBUTE OUR THRILLER?. Vertigo are a much smaller label then the global institutions such as Warner Bros’, who produced The Dark Knight Rises with a budget of around £250,000,000 and are unlikely to distribute our thriller as it has no budget/special effects.

.Our thriller is filmed in Britain, and therefore a British based audience would easily relate to it.

. Our thriller does not have any world renowned actors or a famous director, that would be needed if a larger organisation like Warner Bros’ were to distribute it.

ADVERTISING

. We do not have a massive amount to spend on advertising, and as a result we may would have to put up fliers and posters in appropriate locations in order to promote our thriller cheaply.

. With our thriller I feel it would be intelligent to create a mobile app, as it is based around a phone and this could allow the audience to feel more involved with the promotion of the film.
