A highly dynamic Multi-Channel logistics center (FMC) is the foundation for an
effi cient supply chain. Based on WITRON‘s FMC strategy it is possible to use
the same WITRON standard modules to pick both store orders and Click
& Collect orders, and to pick and pack online / E-Commerce orders, to be
supplied directly to the consumer. Oftentimes, it requires only few adjustments in
the processes and material fl ows to effi ciently use different distribution channels.
For example, through the integration of WITRON‘s DPS it is possible to implement
a highly fl exible case and piece picking.

Multi-Channel Distribution Channels, Click & Collect, Drive,
Pick-up-Point, and Darkstore
Click & Collect: The customer orders the goods
online and picks them up personally at a store of
his/her own choice.
Drive: The customer orders the goods online
and picks them up at the same day at a Drive.
Digitally paid, packed in a shopping bag, and put
into the trunk by a friendly Drive employee.
Pick-up-Point: Pick-up-Point that is only com-
posed of the dispatch area of a Drive and is sup-
plied by existing Drives or Darkstores.
Darkstore: Rather than picking up the goods, the
customer receives the purchase from a regional
transition point directly at home.

High store service:Either for the classic purchase or the pick-up of online ordered goods in the supermarket.
