Distell unveils new Durbanville Hills Collectors Reserve range; extends Nederburg offer Distell will showcase the latest wine range from Durbanville Hills, Collectors Reserve, alongside new wines from Nederburg at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (Booth B2/F27). On the nose the pinotage provides sweet, red fruits with prunes and cherries lingering on the after taste of the palate.
The merlot offers velvety tannins on the palate with sweet, red fruit and vanilla on the after taste and chocolate with cherry on the nose.
Durbanville Hills’ Collectors Reserve range has been designed as a collector’s item for both wine and art lovers, with visuals by artist Theo Vorster
The sauvignon blanc provides passion fruit, gooseberries and citrus flavours on the nose and summer fruits on the palate.
A full-bodied wine, the chardonnay offers sweet fruit and citrus flavours.
Nederburg will highlight two collections in Singapore: Paarl winery’s Private Collection and Limited Edition range.
Since launching in global travel retail in 2017, the Private Collection has shown “promising growth”, according to Distell
The travel shopping-exclusive Private Collection, launched in 2017, now includes three new wines: a dry, fruity rosé made from a blend of carignan and grenache; a chenin blanc; and a plummy pinotage. A sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon and shiraz complete the Private Collection.
The Nederburg Limited Edition Collection consists of a 2011 vintage sauvignon blanc, a 2003 cabernet sauvignon/shiraz, a 2004 pinotage, a 2006 cabernet sauvignon and a 2003 Italian blend. Bottle labels are handwritten by Nederburg’s cellar master.
