Out of Oregon's 213 school districts, ten districts enroll 50% of the state's Hispanic students. Seven of these school districts are in the Portland metropolitan area, two are located in the mid-Willamette Valley.

About half of Oregon's Hispanic students are enrolled in ESL programs, compared to only one percent of white students.
