Spunbond Polypropylene The standard fabric for basic protective apparel; formed by bonding fibers together to form a single layer of breathable, woven-like material. Its main advantages are economy and comfort

Multi-Ply Material (SMS) This fabric consists of inner layers of meltblown polypropylene sandwiched between outer layers of spunbond polypropylene. Strong, fluid-resistant and breathable, this multi-layer material provides an optimal mix of protection and comfort.

Appropriate for extended wear situations involving low to moderate fluid contact. Available in lightweight and medium weight options.

Coated Polypropylene This fabric is created by coating soft, spunbond polypropylene with a layer of impervious polyethylene. This material is ideal for any situation demanding a high level of fluid protection. Available in medium weight and heavy weight materials.

Polyethylene This single layer of polyethylene film provides tremendous barrier properties. This film is ideal for situations when impervious materials are needed.

Prevention Plus This impervious and breathable material consists of a hybrid film laminated between two layers of bi-component spunbond material. This fabric is ideal when impervious protection is needed. The material passes ASTM F1671 standard for viral penetration.

The products listed in the brochure are classified by the European regulation as PPE category I according to the Directive 89/686/EEC or MDD class I non sterile according to the Directive 93/42/EEC. Please consult the Technical Data Sheet of the product in order to find how the product is classified.

Directive 93/42/EEC applies to medical devices and their accessories. Medical devices means any instrument, apparatus, appliance, software, material or other article, whether used alone or in combination, including the software intended by its manufacturer to be used specifically for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes and necessary for its proper application.

Directive 89/686/EEC commonly referred to as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) details the conditions governing the placement and free movement within the European Community Market for the PPE goods and the safety requirements which PPE must satisfy in order to ensure the health protection and safety of users.

MEDLINE CLEAN AIR SUITS- FEEL THE COMFORT!

Medline Clean Air Suits are manufactured from a soft, textile like SMS material with an innovative structure. The material provides dynamic cooling due to a hydro functional polymer that captures and distributes moisture. The material has a high moisture affinity at low temperatures to help maintain the tempera-ture of the body and a low moisture affinity at high temperature to create a cooling effect. As a result, the clean air suit successfully maintains the temperature of the body and provides comfort to healthcare professionals.

The Clean Air Suit is composed of separately packed shirt and pants. The shirt features short sleeves with knit cuffs, a knitted waist, three pockets, a badge holder and neck closure with buttons. The pants feature ties at the waist, knitted cuff at the ankle and two pockets.
