• Film directors will create the overall vision of films and also consider the boundaries of production budget. Also, to become a director, there are many ways as directors csn be the cinemaphotographer, screenwriter and even actors.

• Once when everything is organized, directors may also need to edit the film product.

• And in our music video production, which is like filmmaking process, we also need a director and the roles are quite linked .

Directors in our music video• In our music video process, the director should have the same role as in the

filmmaking.As in our music video we need to create the treatment, arrange cast and also draw the story board, make a shot list.

• For making the treatment and storyboard, the creativity skill is needed, as directors direct the aspects of video and filming process, this requires full creative skills and create a artistic and dramatic vision of the overall of the film.

• For drawing storyboard and writing the treatment, creative skills are needed in making a perfect treatment, because you nned to create the music video as what it will look like, what are the actors, what is the vision will be and what is the narrative? what else are involved?

• For example, you need to decide and create the ideology of the artists, and also you have to make a plan about what the music video going to be like, what are the props, settings and actors and how the video is represented to represent as much audience as possible.

• In this case, to make a treatment you need also be able to make decisions and have a good communication with members which will link with roles for directors

Storyboard making• To produce a storyboard, you will be in the role of the director as you need t

o have a clear understanding of what is going on in the video hence make a plan about each shot, which is similar to the function of shot list.

• Also in making a storyboard, you need to be able for long working hours because you need to draw quite a lot, and while making it, you the director need also consider the technical elements like different shots, edit transitions and sounds and so on .

Before/During filming

• Before filming, actors shouls also be arranged so you need to have skills in communication to get them and invite them. During filming process, you need to make sure that settings are ready, and actors are on their positions. Furthermore, what should be done and how to film it even the scripts of actors should also be done by directors. In this case, directors should have huge confidence for that.

• If I am the director, I will be able to spend long time for working, so the working time is not a problem
