Price of Guest Day Snacks has increased 50 cents to $4.50. Increase is primarily due to new California minimum wage law. New price of snacks was approved by majority. Dana will reconsider whether she will submit them to Jerilyn Fowler for inclusion in the monthly DBCC Newsletter. Team Play. Team Play Captain Becky Frazier has been selected as one of four to participate on the Diablo League Steering Committee, where she is responsible for running meetings, scheduling meeting dates, and organizing the team play schedule for the league. April 2 is the first Team Play day for Central Valley at Stockton. Captain Bonnie Ladd has a good number of ladies participating this year, and she definitely tries to have each lady play at least once during the season.

Get Your Pink On – October 6. Becky Frazier is in charge of the tournament. Annette requested assistance from all members for a very successful tournament. Membership. Charlene Kleiner currently has 75 members (73 members since Monta Dawns is moving from the area and Lisa Ferrante is no longer a DBCC member -- they will not be refunded their annual dues). Linda Beatty still needs to pay her annual dues. Jadine Hodgen will be joining us soon. Charlene was given kudos for the great peach color (almost pink) 2015 Roster. Cost was $1.96 per roster. Invitational – August 4-6. This year’s chairs are Sondi Schnee, Jan Baehr, and Pamela Musselman. A “Save the Date” will be sent out soon. The theme is “Jungle Golf Safari”. Junior Girls’ Golf. Mary Watkins advised that we will continue with the basket at check-in (which runs about $40 per month) for the Liberty Girls’ Golf Program. There is $300 in the 2015 Budget for the Liberty Girls and hopefully another $200 from the basket for an estimated total of $500 for Liberty. The Putts Monies will continue to go the WGNAC girls. Mary will be communicating with the Liberty coach. Eclectic. Deborah Veatch has 43 ladies signed up. Becky Frazier gave her $10 today bringing the total to 44 ladies. Deborah will continue to accept sign-ups until February 20, 2015. Hole in One. Sonja Welin (not in attendance) does not require additional monies at this time. She has 53 participating including two new ladies. Thanks to Gay Wold who clarified how this program works. Historian/Delegate. Janet Winslow was not in attendance. She has compiled a 2014 picture album which we will see soon. Big congratulations go to Janet who attended the USGA/PGA Golf Rules Certification Seminar and aced the examination. In addition to the WGANC Rules Committee and NCGA Tournament and Rules Committee, our Janet is now on this USGA/PGA Rules Committee. Open Days. Susan Leeper is pleased that so many of the ladies are participating in the Open Days. Discovery Bay will be hosting an Open Day on June 16. Rules. Hilary Frigilana was not present. It was commented that we all appreciate Hilary’s emails on rules situations and her accurate responses to all our questions. Hilary also posts her Rules emails on our web site. If you are playing Match pay, you should definitely look at Hilary’s examples on our web site. Social/Sunshine. Brenda Reisinger was not in attendance but wanted to thank everyone for remembering to let her know when there are special happenings for our members (such as Joanne Leete becoming a Grandma) and/or illness and death in family. Each lady is more than welcome to let Brenda know personal info they would like announced to all members.

§ Becky Frazier shared that Earline Dal Porto who was the first DBWGC Captain in 1987 recently lost her husband. Becky will advise Brenda to send a card.

§ It was also announced [at lunch] that Brenda sent a card to Sandy Smith who is grieving her Mother’s passing. Any individual cards to Sandy will also be appreciated.

§ At lunch, Barbara Mensch advised that Cam Donald was hospitalized, and she will keep us posted on Cam’s return to health. Cards to Cam will be appreciated.

Website. Jan McCleery and Gay Wold will be partnering on the website this year. NEW BUSINESS – Annette Krey Tournament Participation. It was agreed that the Spring Handicap will be the best two out of three rounds. Hopefully more ladies can participate if they only are available for two of the three play days. The guidelines for the Club Championship will not be changed. Annette will consider whether a Match Play option can be included in tournaments. Clinics. Peter has agreed to provide clinics after lunch at a nominal price. Sunset Golf. Annette is looking into the possibility of scheduling a Sunset Golf with our spouse/significant as a way to increase camaraderie among the members. Annette wants members to “be there” for each other. Special Guest Day is set for September 29. Barbara Mensch and Gay Wold are responsible for the day. We will also celebrate Dana’s and Bonnie’s birthdays on this Special Guest Day. Website Use. Annette has strongly urged that we continue to motivate our members to increase their usage of the website. Annette was amazed at all the information available. By-Laws. Cam Donald will be updating the by-laws which were approved during 2014 and will have them available by the March General Meeting. The by-laws will be posted on our Website. Update Trophies. Barbara Mensch will be updating the trophies in the upstairs lobby. We need to communicate to our members that these trophies exist so that proper recognition is given. Becky will design a similar trophy to update the Invitational trophy which is full. Bonnie Ladd is the 2010 “low net” winner, and this trophy has not been updated since that time. All were asked to help Barbara compile a list of all Invitational winners. The first 2015 General Meeting is now scheduled for March 17, due to Open Day conflicts and travel by several members on the originally scheduled date of March 10. Locker. Doris Bunnell advised that a Locker is now available for storage items in the upstairs Ladies’ Locker Room. It is Locker #152, and the combination is 39-29-25. Old Treasurer Reports and Secretary Minutes are now in the locker. There is room left for more “stuff”. Adjournment. Shelly Morgan moved to adjourn the meeting, and Gay Wold seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 3:43 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Doris Bunnell, Secretary
