Photography / Video Our official and approved suppliers of photography and video are Tropical Studio (only available in Dominican Republic), L&V Photography and Cores Films. We have enclosed a selection of their packages for your planning purposes. Please contact them directly should you have any questions: Tropical Studio [email protected], L&V Photography [email protected], and Cores Films [email protected]. Our Policy regarding outside service providers including Photography/Video companies includes a fee of $600.00 (each) to access our property (plus $90.00 per person). Please note that if you hire a company that offers both services (photo and video), the fee will apply per service, meaning US$600.00 for photo, US$600.00 for video, plus US$90.00 per person.

Private Reception Party OptionsIn the event you decide to have a non-private dinner in one of our restaurants (included in the wedding package), may we suggest you add a private reception following dinner. We offer two options for private receptions, and it´s a great way to thank your guests for joining you on this special occasion!

1) Private Reception Party (Custom) With the below options, you can rent one of our locations for a fee and add your choice of drink package to create the perfect reception based on your needs. This alternative is only available if purchased in conjunction with the Open Bar.

A Non Private Wedding Dinner is available in a section of one of our restaurants, with a set menu for your group at no additional cost for up to 60 guests. Restaurant availability is subject to the discretion of the resort and group size. Please note that no modifications are allowed to the set menu.

* To ensure the comfort of all guests we must maintain consistent programming of musical entertainment in our restaurants. As a result, our restaurant/wedding staff is unable to accommodate requests to change/delete or lower the volume of our regularly scheduled music programs during wedding events or dinner receptions. Be surrounded by our pristine waters, white sand beaches and a tropical breeze while you say your I Do’s, savor one of our exquisite hors d'oeuvres, or have that wow moment under the stars while you have your first dance as a married couple. These are the perfect locations for couples that are looking for Privacy for their Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, or Private Dinner Reception. · Presidential Suite (Majestic Colonial/ Majestic Elegance Punta Cana) $1,000.00 set fee for the location up to 100 guests.· Private terraces Majestic Mirage Punta Cana $1,500.00 (up to 30 guests) $1,800.00 (up to 80 guests)

Decorations As part of your wedding package we will provide basic set up for the ceremony including chairs with white covers for all your guests, white tulle for Beach or Gazebo locations, and a signing table with white linen. We also provide our basic set up for private receptions (round tables with white linens, chairs with white covers). If your dinner is non private, the decor provided will be that which is included in the regular dinner service of the restaurant confirmed.

We have a list of available décor packages to customize your ceremony or event. Each location / event will require the purchase of its own décor package. Décor Packages and / or all of the items provided are for use during the specified times and are rented items, if items are removed, guests will be charged a purchase fee per item missing (including all centerpieces).

Please ask for our Decoration document for the latest options.

In the event you plan to bring your own decorations, a set up fee will apply. Please indicate to us if you want those items to be packed and returned to you, it is included in the cost of the set up fee. You must detail every item that you will be bringing before your arrival in order to provide you with an accurate cost. Otherwise, if you decide to do the set up yourselves and you are interested in bringing those items back home with you, please make sure you assign someone in your group to pack up everything as soon your event is finished. Neither Majestic Resorts nor the staff may be held responsible of any items lost.

What every bride should know when planning her wedding at Majestic ResortsWhat do we do next after the wedding date and time is confirmed by our wedding coordinator?Once you receive the confirmation of your wedding, you will have lots of questions, and we will be here to assist you every step of the way. With the assistance of the Weddings Department and the documents provided upon confirming the wedding, you can start the planning of your big day. You will be also sent a Wedding Planning Guide “My Majestic Wedding” where you will be able to fill out with all the details you would like, and please make sure that you include absolutely all the items you want on your wedding. We will need this document back 30 days prior to your arrival; this will allow us adequate time to finalize everything for your special day!

Who will we work with to coordinate our wedding plans? You will be working with the Senior Wedding Specialist of the hotel chosen, primarily via email or also by phone, who will assist you throughout the planning process. They will help you make your vision come to life and look after special requests or details that you have in mind for your special day. Upon arrival you will be assigned a wedding coordinator on-site to work with you on your wedding day, and who will contact you with a letter to arrange a meeting in order to reconfirm all items you have previously selected.

Is there a time that I must be on the destination before the wedding?No there is no time restriction but we always recommend couples arrive 2-3 days before the wedding to have enough time to meet with the wedding coordinator and reconfirm all the information.

Would we be able to receive some kind of a discount on the wedding package price? We cannot remove items or offer discounts on the wedding package, however, if you book 15 rooms or more for 7 nights each you will get the wedding package for free. Whenever possible we suggest you request a group booking via your travel agency, so that you can secure the rooms that you will require for your friends and family. A group reservation will also help you secure the best possible rates.

How long typically is the ceremony? Around 15 minutes. If you are having a Catholic Ceremony it will be between 30 – 60 minutes.

What does the basic ceremony set-up include? The basic ceremony set-up includes the garden or beach gazebo with white tulle, chairs with white covers, and a table with white linen with the tropical centerpiece part of the wedding package.

Is there a wedding ceremony rehearsal? Complete details will be explained during our meeting, and of course the wedding coordinator will be with you dur ing the ceremony. We recommend you meet with your wedding party to give them an update following our meeting. Ceremony rehearsal will be subject to availability.

Why do I have to pay extra for my private reception when the hotel is all inclusive?If you choose to hold a private reception, it will be customized and decorated as you desire. The area/venue will be private for you and your guests. Staff will be provided and a bar and/or private menu will be offered. This comes at an extra charge, as these programs are not part of our regularly scheduled events or food and beverage service at the hotel.

Are we allowed to bring our own champagne for the toast / drinks for the reception? Yes, but you have to pay a corkage fee of US$10 per bottle.

How many people do you seat at each table? For private receptions we use round tables that can accommodate 8-10 guests each. ($) For dinner in one of our restaurants the set up will usually be one or two long tables for the group; however this will be confirmed upon arrival.

What happens if it rains?We always have a PLAN B for all outside events, which will depend on your group size and venue options available. We will review our final plans for your event and required timelines. Once finalized, we will present you with a document for final sign-off.

How do we pay for the wedding package or any supplemental fees?No deposit is required. Payment will be done upon arrival after we meet, and prior to the ceremony.

Can I ship items to the resort?Yes, you can make shipments, however, please note we cannot receive any goods more than one week in advance.Customs will most likely open all packages, and along with the company you used for shipping, you will need to take care of the cus-toms bill. We are happy to receive packages but we are not responsible for them arriving safely. The customs bill is the responsibility of the bride and groom. For that reason we suggest that you bring everything with you to avoid these extra charges.

What if I have guests that would like to attend my wedding but they will not be staying at the resort. How do we deal with that? Please note this number cannot exceed 10% of the total amount of guests attending your wedding. For example, if you have 30 guests, only 3 guests can come from outside the property. They have to buy a full day pass in order to attend the wedding (they will be able to from 9:00am and stay until the reception ends). Just let us know the names of those who are staying on-site and how their fee will be paid, and please make sure they bring an ID since it will be required upon arrival. If they want to visit you on a different day, the same rates will apply. If you have arranged private events involving fees for guest participation, these fees will be in addition to the day pass. ($)

Does the resort offer a transfer service to and from the airport for their guests? Does the resort have any pre-existing relation-ships with any of the airlines?No, we don’t have transfers to or from the airport. But if you make your travel arrangements through a travel agent or tour operator, they can assist you with transfers in advance. In regards to airlines, please contact the travel agent/tour operator of your choice.

Do you have any ideas of group activities I can do with my guests during their stay at the resort? Our different resorts offer entertainment activities throughout the day and evening. Excursions may be purchased through your travel agency or tour operator, there are many to choose from in the area.

Will I receive a response to an email on the same day I sent it? We are not office based and are in and out of the office constantly. We are on the move setting up and executing weddings on a daily basis. Much of our day is also spent meeting with brides and finalizing details or going over their event. We check emails as often as possible, but due to the extremely high number of emails received, it is not always possible for us to respond the same day. What if I decide to use an outside vendor for my wedding?In the event that you may be planning to have an outside service provider enter the property of Majestic Resorts to provide a service or product to either you or guests on site, we request you contact to the wedding team in advance with the name of the company and service. We will confirm if this is an authorized provider to Majestic Resorts and inform you if he/she will be allowed on the premises. Please note that we have an Outside Vendor Fee for any vendor coming into the resort. The vendor fee is US$600.00 per vendor per service, plus US$90.00 per assistant/staff coming in. For example, if you hire a company that offers both Photo and Video, you will be charged US$600.00 for photo and US$600.00 for video, plus US$90.00 per assistant they bring. For Hair and Makeup, the same fee will apply. If your vendor stays at the same hotel where your wedding will be held, we will waive the vendor fee (applies for all vendors except Decoration Companies). Please note that these charges are per day. Majestic Resorts cannot be held responsible for such providers. Please contact your wedding planner to confirm the appropriate surcharges applicable for your stay/event.. Will I be able to bring my own decoration in case I don’t want to buy a package?In the event you plan to bring your own decorations, a set up fee will apply. Please indicate us if you want those items to be packed and returned to you, it is included on the cost of the set up fee. You must detail every item that you will be bringing before your arrival in order to provide you with an accurate cost. Otherwise, if you decide to do the set up yourselves and you are interested in bringing those items back home with you, please make sure you assign someone in your group to pack up everything as soon your event is finished. Neither Majestic Resorts nor the staff may be held responsible of any items lost. To ensure the perfect execution of all wed ding events, the Wedding Coordinator will not be responsible of placing any decoration item brought by the brides, nor picking them up after the event is over.

NotesIn order for Majestic Resorts to host your wedding you must have room reservations confirmed at Majestic Resorts for your group. Your wedding ceremony location will be held in the resort of which you are staying. Please be advised that the Majestic Colonial, Majestic Elegance and Majestic Mirage Punta Cana do not have exchange privileges back and forth. The only shared facilities of our properties are Caribbean Street (Casino, Sports Bar, Kids Club, Conference Center), include Disco and Catholic Chapel only available, Punta Cana DR.
