Hidden Treasures of St. George Village

St. George Village is full of unexpected, delightful discoveries — we call them hidden treasures. One such treasure is our beautiful campus, especially during the Fall season!

Autumn’s cooler temperatures and turning leaves beckon our residents, staff and visitors to come outdoors and enjoy the walking trails, gardens and putting green. Our canine friends enjoy their strolls around the grounds and frolicking in our dog park, too!

Every season is full of outdoor surprises at St. George Village, but none is quite as vividly colorful as Fall.

Memorializing Life Through Art

One of our resident artists, Jim Devers, painted a portrait in tribute to his friend, fellow resident and artist Ray Chouinard.

Ray, who passed away this summer, enjoyed painting in watercolors and called on his engineering background to design and implement many helpful additions to our community, such as ball racks for

our Bocce Ball court. He often assisted his neighbors with projects like modifying and customizing a walker or building a guitar stand.

Ray will be sorely missed here at St. George Village, but Jim's portrait, currently hanging on our Resident Artists wall, will serve as a reminder of Ray's unfailing kindness and generosity to all.

A Life Care Learning ExchangeSt. George Village recently hosted a group of senior living professionals from Barcelona, Spain, who came to learn more about the benefits of a Life Care community. Our panel of resident experts were pleased to share information, and our staff of Care Partners conducted mini-workshops on topics such as person-directed care, the Eden Alternative Principles and how SimpleC technology helps
