CLASSROOM RULES
1. Respect the people, equipment of the room.
2. Adjust your voice level to suit the activity.
3. Follow directions the first time they are given.
4. Have all appropriate materials and supplies.
5. Observe the Code of Student Conduct and procedures set for the class.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO BREAK A RULEFIRST INCIDENTName on board; verbal warning.
SECOND INCIDENTThree checks; Time Out (Teacher call parents); behavior is recorded on the behavioral report.
THIRD INCIDENTSix checks; Office Referral (Parent Conference with the Teacher).
FOURTH INCIDENTTeacher recommends suspension.
SEVERE DISRUPTIONStudent is sent immediately to the office; Parents are called to school or Teacher will have home visitation.
Notes:All records (beginning 2nd incident) go to the Behavioral Report folder.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO FOLLOW THE DISCIPLINE PLANPraise (daily).Positive Notes Home (random).“Raise a Grade” Certificate (monthly).Various other positive perks (throughout the rest of the year).The joy of learning (each day of the rest of the year).
