Disciple Training The Disciple Trainings I have received:

• In depth bible study• The legacies of past saints• Prayer meetings

All good, but, looking back, 2 major parts are missing:

• Lack of relationship training• Lack of career training

Disciple Training

A big “detour” in my life:

Lord lead me through the most painful marriage experience and “explored” the whole realm of relational world.

• Christian Counseling, Boundaries• Olive branch, Divorce Recovery• Family Life, Marriage Camp, Marriage Coaching,…

Disciple Training My confusion between two parallel experiences in the Evangelical ‘denomination’:

• Mainstream emphasis on Bible Study, Fundamental Truth, Church Organization and activities, ‘standard’ relationship.

• But this other ‘non-mainstream’ seems to be psychology, “non-spiritual” of dealing with ‘difficult’ relationship.

Disciple Training However, movements in Christian communities seem to be getting stronger:

• Purpose Driven Life• ECC’s Missional Church• Celebration Recovery• Emotional Health Church •…

Disciple Training Even in the Mission fields:

• Information explosion, knowledge is no longer the main desire.

• The main problem is becoming how to get trained and practice(Disciple Training) to live a Christian life

Disciple Training This is nothing new, but this ‘second step’ becomes more important and equally important as the ‘first step’.

Bible Study is important, but immediately we need to apply it to everyday life everything and all the time.

Justification by faith is an ‘already’. Starting with Romans 5, we are on the way to grow, and Romans 12 and on are all Justification by Action, together lockstep with Justification by Faith.

Disciple Training Even secular world knows it and does it pretty good. Microsoft, Amzon, and Seahawks.

A lot of them are actually according to Bible principle, but the goals and perspectives are different. Like ‘above and below the sun in Ecclesiastes’

Christian should be all the more better(in different measurement especially in spiritual)

Disciple Training So ‘Disciple Training’ is everything, every moment and it is life growing and transforming. We all know that, but what is lacking?

• All the things that have been emphasized

• Relationship training• Will and Attitude• Career training

Disciple Training The approach I’m using and developing for BC students:

• Make long/short term plan and weekly/daily plan• Use it as a tool to seek what God’s plan on us• Have God direct every step of the plan(walk with God and God’s presence)• Know who I am and God’s original design• Build trust to relationship to others since By God’s design you will need others to get you to a place that you couldn’t do it by yourself.

Disciple Training My biggest problem and fear is I’m not a good role model. I’m far from the person that I teach and students may get the wrong idea.

I need help, preferably young and more mature Christian who is willing to commit and undergo a more long term training and becoming a leader.
