Introduction Welcome to the ninth edition of the directory of halls for hire in Yeovil and surrounding villages. We hope that this fully updated edition of what has proved to be a very successful publication will continue to prove a useful guide to finding a suitable venue for your meeting, party, training event etc.

So what’s in it?

Within the Directory you will find a separate entry for each of the respective venues. There are two sections, the first one is for venues that are fully accessible and the second section has venues with varying degrees of accessibility. Each entry is numbered, and on the centre pages of the Directory you will find a map of Yeovil indicating where in the town the facility is located.

Each entry provides you with details of some or all of the following.

Number and type of rooms to hire and in most cases room size or number of people that can be accommodated

Kitchen facilities

Any additional equipment and/or facilities (car parking, tables, chairs, audio/visual equipment)

Any restrictions on types of use or users

Current availability (correct at time of publication)

Accessibility (an independent audit was carried out by Access for All on each venue to ascertain the degrees of accessibility and whether it applies to the whole building)

A supplemental charge of £10 per hour is also payable if there is a bar (either "cash" or "pre-paid"). The Committee's preferred provider for bar services is the Quicksilver Mail, other providers will require prior Committee approval and conditions may be set.

The Committee may award a £5 per hour discount to users who they deem to be providing a public benefit which is in line with ACA's own charitable purposes.

Regular users which pay by Standing Order will receive a £2.50 per hour discount which may, at the Committee's discretion, be extended to cover additional, ad hoc hires of either room by that user.
