Stefanos Koroneos- Georgios Argeratos
with pianist Areti Giovanou
Diphono "A classical journey through the places we loved..."
This journey started years ago, when the two Greek singers, Georgios Argeratos and Stefanos Koronaios, fell in love with
the world of opera. Having both followed their passion for operatic singing, they now decide to form Diphono and bring
their love for their home country and classical music together in a new partnership. Diphono stands for “two voices” in
Greek, as the two singers travel us through the ages, with several stops along the way in Greece, Italy, and the country
where they both live now, the USA.
This production will include famous songs from Hatzidakis, Kalomoiris and other Greek composers, as well as romantic
Italian songs. It will also be presented by the two singers in Berlin, in collaboration with the Berlin Philarmonic Orchestra,
in May 2014.
