Wherever you want it, it’s there: Busch-Dimmer®

Come on in: through whichever door you enter a room – a rotary control element is already waiting for you. This works without a problem, also in the case of the existing two-way and single-gang wiring thanks to a maximum of up to five rotary dimmer extension. In operation, there is no difference between the actual dimmer and the extension and the universal dimmer will work with many types of loads.

Even with a 2gang switch (switch with two rockers), you can retrofit a dimmer without structural changes. There are two possibilities in this case.

You would like to dim one lamp while switching on the other as usual? The switch dimmer is ideal. It looks like a normal rotary dimmer, but that’s where the resemblance ends. If you turn it, you dim one lamp, but if you press it, you switch the second lamp on or off.

You would like to dim two lights independently of each other and thus provide an individual lighting atmosphere? The 2gang dimmer is the perfect solution.One lamp is controlled with each rocker half. A brief press turns the light on and off, while a longer one the lamp dims up or down.

In addition, up to five rotary dimmer extensions or an unlimited number of conventional NO contact push-switches can be integrated.

The cover located on the dimmer can be exchanged for plug-in modules. You can choose between a push-switch control element, a rotary control element, and a timer control element. Centralised control is thus possible.

Up to six capacity boosters can be connected to a master dimmer. In this way, loads up to 3,000 W/VA can be controlled via a single lamp wire. This is particularly helpful for renovation since it is often the case that no additional wires should be laid.

Versatility and mounting-friendliness: the power modules are controlled using a cable included in delivery and only have to be plugged in, thus which prevents wiring mistakes.

As much output as necessary – not more and not less. For perfect operation, MDRC dimmers should be placed with 1/2 module width distance in between to prevent over heating of the device.
