Most of the story takes place in the laboratory of Andrew at the Oster Valley University .

The story also takes place at Andrew’s house, on the streets, at the bus station and in the house of Mark Watson.

The Main CharacterDr. Andrew Scott

Andrew is a doctor in Oster Valley University and works in a laboratory.

He likes his job and works many hours - For example, in the story we read that he didn’t sleep in the night because he was working. He wants to finish his study before professor Fischer from Zurich, because he wants to be famous.

ProblemsThere is a rivers pollution problem.

Professor Hamilton, Dr. Andrew Scott and Jo are studying the rivers

problem .

They are trying to make a new chemical compound to clean the

water in the river .

They want to stop the pollution that kills the plants and fish .

They want to make the compound before Professor Fischer, can

they find the answer before him?

SolutionAndrew worked all the weekend and found how to make cheap chemical compound that can help to save the river from the pollution.

He finished the study before Dr. Fischer .

My Opinion About the way of the main character

I agree with the way of the main character .I think so because he works hard on everything he does .

I think everyone can learn from him about dedication to work.
