1 INTRODUCTION

This user manual refers to the functionality for digital signing of attachments in the system “ONE STOP SHOP SYSTEM FOR REGISTRATION OF TRADE COMPANIES” in Microsoft Word 2007/2010 format.



2 GUIDELINES FOR DIGITAL SIGNING OF DOCUMENTS

2.1 Precondition

MS package Microsoft Office/Word 2007 or 2010 required. The documents need to be saved in the „.docx“ format.

2.2 Guidelines

Digital signing of documents in MS Word 2010

Open the document in MS Word 2010.

Click File > Info (marked in blue).

Click on Protect Document > Add a Digital Signature.



On the notification for digital signing, click OK.

Click Change to select a digital certificate. Select valid certificate and click OK.

Click Sign.

The digital certificate (signature) is affixed. It is displayed on the right side of the Word document.

N.B.: If you make a change to the document after you have signed it, the digital signature is automatically lost. Once you’ve completed the changes, you will be required to sign it again.

Digital signing of a document in MS Word 2007

Open the document in MS Word 2007.

Click the Office button > Prepare (MS Office). Then click Add a Digital Signature.

On the notification for digital signing, click OK.

Click Change to select a digital certificate. Select valid certificate and click OK.

Click Sign.

The digital certificate (signature) is affixed. It is displayed on the right side of the Word document.
