Type “linkedin.com” in the address bar
Fill out the info window shown to start your account

LinkedIn can import the contacts from your email, if you choose
Importing checks for and adds anyone you know who is using LinkedIn
Can click “Skip” to check on your own

Open the LinkedIn email entitled “Please confirm your email address”
Click the yellow button
