The digital control desk system EE 380 is a new and compact intercom terminal concept, which perfectly suits the demands of small to medium sized central control workplaces. It provides good control and easy operation in situations where many calls are directed to one central point.

Up to 4 modules with 12 direct access buttons can be connected to a base station. The buttons can be assigned to various functions: direct dialling with call indication (conversation, call, emergency call); output functions, e.g. switching light circuits, starting processes, operating doors and gates etc.; indication of input messages, e.g. status of doors, gates and barriers.

Optionally there are button modules with 3-colour LEDs available, at which e.g. calls or system states can be indicated clearly. Thanks to it‘s newest DSP-technology, the base station offers OpenDuplex® with crystal clear speech quality and standard functions such as loudspeaker/microphone monitoring. Firmware is upgradable for future functionality.

The Control Desk System EE 380 is available in 4 versions, two of them equipped with an additional loudspeaker for workplaces with high ambient noise levels.

EE 380B

Base station desktop version, with gooseneck microphone with cardioid characteristic and additional loudspeaker. Reinforced silicone keypad (standard keypad with „T“ and „X“ buttons as well as three function keys. Up to four button modules EM 301EG or EM 302EG can be connected. Typical applications: Control rooms and reception areas with high ambient noise levels, where enhanced speech intelligibility is essential.

Connection via RJ 11 sockets for A/B, 4-way modular socket for headphones, mini-DIN-socket connection for the button modules. One input for floating contact; one open collector output.

EE 380 – Clear, Compact, Multi-functional.

Due to its modular construction the system can be optimally configured to a variety of different control desk stations. The base of each control desk is an intercom terminal, available in 4 different versions (with or without gooseneck microphone and with or without an additional loudspeaker. This helps to

find the right terminal for each working environment, whether in a quiet office or in a noisy and busy control room.

Base station desktop version, with built-in electret microphone and additional loudspeaker. Reinforced silicone keypad (standard keypad with „T“ and „X“ buttons as well as three function keys. Up to four button modules EM 301EG or EM 302EG can be connected. Typical applications: Control desks and command stations in quiet areas, where enhanced speech intelligibility is essential.

Connection via RJ 11 sockets for A/B, 4-way modular socket for headset or handset, mini-DIN-socket connection for the button modules. One input for floating contact; one open collector output.

Up to 4 button modules can be connected to the base station. This way each control desk is provided with its own unique functionality: direct dialling to or from Intercom terminals, switching of outputs and indication of system states. The indication functions are available with the 3-colour LED

button modules only. The base station and the modules are connected via a bus system.

The control desk system is connected to the Intercom Servers GE 200/GE 700 via a digital subscriber card. The connection via IoIP® is also possible.

Installation

By connecting a base station and up to 4 button modules, a variety of control desk stations can be configured. The individual parts of the station are connected depending on the base station which is used.

EE 380A and EE 380C have special mounting plates which are fixed to the bottom of the housings by screws. Special mounting tabs ensure easy mounting.

EE 380B and EE 380D have a special cable duct with snap-on connectors for an easy connection of modules. In addition to that, a mounting plate is providing highest stability.

The button modules can be easily labelled by using predefined templates, which are available in different file formats, such as MS Word®, CorelDraw® or Visio®.
